The rice kernels are shorter than Carnaroli, with a uniform opaque creamy color and a solid white center. Arborio has a high starch content that is released slowly in the cooking process, creating a lush blanket of creamy starch that coats each kernel.
Principato di Lucedio is one of Italy's finest rice growing estates. Located in the Piedmont region, Lucedio carries on a 600-year-old-rice-growing tradition. They grow, harvest, and pack all their own product, skipping the typical consolidation of other growers. This method ensures that each and every grain is handled with the same level of care throughout the entire process, ensuring the best possible quality. The farm extends over 500 hectares inside a regional park. The entire production process is done with low environmental impact and preservative-free packaging in a modified atmosphere, guarantee product freshness and nutritional quality.
