The Lukus vase introduces a whole new level of exploration within the world of 3D printing. It's impossible to print the final shape, so Cyrc takes matters into their own hands by using an algorithmic woven structure as the starting point. With some hands-on heat and manipulation, the vase transforms into a flowing piece of fabric before being molded into its finished form. The ruffled edges are a result of this process, giving the Lukus vase a minimal organic feel.
Circular Zero-waste Home Decor. Cyrc merges art and technology with a circular economy model to produce unique and sustainable objects for the home. Designed and made to order in Montreal.
They believe that true sustainability is taking responsibility for the whole life cycle of a product. It is imperative that they create a future where the simple act of owning a vase or a chair doesn't come with hidden costs from extraction, production, and exploitation.
Recycling rates for plastics are as low as 9%, and furniture is near 0%. This is why their products come back to them at the end of their use. Cyrc ensures the materials never become waste entering landfills or the natural environment.
Driven by a vision to exemplify the circular economy through unique design, Daniel and Guy founded Cyrc in Montreal in 2021. When they met, they seamlessly connected their ideas, determined to ensure their creations wouldn't contribute to more waste. They set out to build a brand with a business model designed to transform today's wasteful production and consumption patterns.
