Say hello to your new French beauty secret weapon, Homeoplasmine. This ultra-soothing, multi-use balm is perfect for tackling dry skin, chapped lips, and mild skin irritations. It’s thick, matte, and oh-so-effective, making it a must-have in your skincare arsenal. Its non-greasy formula locks in moisture without that slippery feel, making it the ultimate beauty hack for anyone tired of lipsticks that bleed or balms that don’t last. A single tube will last forever, even with regular use!
Infused with natural ingredients like calendula and antiseptic properties, Homeoplasmine creates a protective barrier to prevent moisture loss while soothing irritation. The addition of Vaselinum Album ensures deep hydration, while boric acid gently fights bacteria to keep your skin healthy and happy.
Behind the scenes at Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks, Homeoplasmine is a backstage favourite. Makeup artists use it to prep lips for flawless lipstick application, heal dry patches on models, and keep skin glowing under the hot lights. It’s the unsung hero of high-fashion beauty! A staple of the French pharmacy, Homeoplasmine has earned its iconic status thanks to its unmatched versatility and effectiveness. Loved by beauty enthusiasts, makeup artists, and skincare aficionados alike, it’s the kind of product you’ll wonder how you ever lived without.

When Not to Use
- Avoid applying Homeoplasmine to damaged skin (especially burns), large areas of skin, or under occlusive dressings (closed coverings), particularly in children.
- Do not use if you are allergic to Asteraceae plants (like arnica or calendula) or any other ingredient in the formula.
- While no risks are known when used as directed, no comprehensive scientific studies have been conducted. As a precaution, consult your doctor, pharmacist, or healthcare provider before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Rare cases of local reactions (e.g., redness, irritation) may occur due to hypersensitivity to the ingredients. Discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor if this happens.
- If you notice any new or unusual side effects, stop use and inform your healthcare provider.
- Using homeopathic treatments may sometimes result in temporary worsening of symptoms (initial aggravation). If this persists, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
- Not suitable for children under 30 months.

WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF HOMEOPLASMINE?
Like any skincare, Homeoplasmine may not suit everyone and may spark a reaction if you're allergic to one or more of its ingredients. Always patch test first!
HOW DO YOU STORE HOMEOPLASMINE CORRECTLY?
Store it in a dry, cool place.
WHAT CAN HOMEOPLASMINE BE USED FOR?
Homeoplasmine can be used for a variety of things! Its matte finish makes it an awesome lip primer, while its balm consistency means it's also soothing on chapped lips. Some use it as an eyebrow pommade (careful to avoid your eyes). Pop it on your cuticles in winter to help prevent them from splitting, and apply to rough heels over night. It really lives up to its potential as a multi-purpose repair balm.
IS HOMEOPLASMINE THE SAME AS VASELINE?
While Homeoplasmine contains Vaseline, it is not the same as vaseline. Its formula also includes plant extracts like inkberry, calendula and bryony, as well as and boric acid (4%). This means that it has a very similar consistency, but feels less greasy and straddles the line between pharmaceutical and homeopathic.
IS HOMEOPLASMINE GOOD FOR ECZEMA?
Homeoplasmine can be useful for mild eczema, particularly when it comes to dry, itchy patches. Our Beauty Director founds that it keeps her upper lip eczema at bay and can calm a small outbreak. We wouldn't recommend trying it for moderate to severe eczema however, as it not anywhere near as strong as a cortisoid and other traditiona eczema treatments. It's a complementary product rather than the main deal.
HOW DO MAKEUP ARTISTS USE HOMEOPLASMINE?
Makeup artists love to use Homeoplasmine as a quick lip salve and primer in one during Paris Fashion Week. It helps smooth over chapped lips, and can help stop lipsticks and glosses from bleeding under those bright lights.
WHAT IS HOMEOPLASMINE GOOD FOR?
What isn't Boiron Homeoplasmine good for? Look, it won't really help you win the lottery or take you on a date, but it will definitely come in handy and won't be languishing at the back of your medicine cabinet. We list some of the ways Homeoplasmine can be used in the description above. It's the ultimate multi-purpose repair balm and more refined than pure Vaseline, making it a winner in our books. Just be aware that this stuff is thick. Only use a teeny bit, and try softening it between your fingers first for a thinner application.
