Alana Fernandez

We are so excited to welcome the newest member to our team, Alana Fernandez! 

Alana comes to us with the dreamiest portfolio of hair, follow her @oulalana to see what we are talking about. As an Aveda trained stylist she worked at a salon downtown for the past 4 years and she finally made her way uptown to us on St Clair west! 

Her passion for hair started at a young age, being a dancer for 15 years had her doing her own hair and makeup as well as helping others with theirs. She became fascinated with all things hair and fell in love with learning about colour, shape, connection and movement. This allows her to look at each new client and customize a look completely tailored to their preference and lifestyle. 

Alana specializes in soft blended blondes (you know we love our blondes!) utilizing clients’ natural hair to create dimension and a seamless, low maintenance grow out. Don’t worry brunettes we didn’t forget about you, she equally loves creating dark, rich, sexy hair.

Alana loves to challenge her creativity and welcomes the opportunity to produce looks that are outside the box and playful. She takes inspiration from daily life whether it be a mood, season or a colour she has seen in nature. In her spare time you can find her working on set doing creative photo shoots with like-minded artists, keeping herself inspired. 

We knew Alana would be the perfect fit here when she told us all about her self care routine. She has the best recommendations for books, movies, restaurants, yoga classes, podcasts, and thrift shops. 

We can’t wait for you all to meet her. She will be in the shop Tuesdays- Saturdays starting March 1st!
