I ALREADY GO TO THERAPY. CAN I STILL USE THIS JOURNAL?
Yes, absolutely! This notebook is made for anyone who wants to make the most of their therapy sessions. It's designed to slip seamlessly into your therapy journey, whether you're just starting out or have been going to therapy for years.

WHAT'S CHANGED IN THIS EDITION OF THE THERAPY JOURNAL?
We haven't changed anything, actually! We've gotten so much positive feedback on the journaling entry, that we've simply added more blank notes pages in the back so you can continue to journal if needed.
We've also changed the interior page color to gray, and have increased the opacity of the text color to help with legibility. Note that we have kept the text size the same due to page limitations.

WHAT DOES THE ILLUSTRATION ON THE COVER MEAN?
The Therapy Journal is founded upon the premise that the therapeutic process is fundamentally collaborative between client and therapist. The two circles represent that collaborative, give-and-take process between therapist and client, with the client represented as the dotted line.

WHEN SHOULD I USE THIS JOURNAL?
You can use The Therapy Journal before, during, and after each session to organize your thoughts before therapy, capture the insights that matter most during the session, and reflect on the biggest takeaways for your after. You can also use this journal to jot down and process moments in the weeks in-between sessions with therapist-crafted reflection prompts.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS JOURNAL?
This notebook is designed to help you get the most out of your therapy sessions by giving you a space to organize your thoughts and process the events of your week to work through with your therapist. To put it simply, we hope to reduce the number of times you show up to your sessions drawing a blank. With The Therapy Journal, we hope you can more intentionally identify what you want to talk about so you can make the most of your limited time with your therapist.

HOW WILL THIS NOTEBOOK HELP ME GET THE MOST OUT OF THERAPY?
There are three major sections of The Therapy Journal that will help you prepare and process your time before, during, and after your session. This first section is Notes From the Week-this is open space for you to jot down the moments and reflections during the week that you want to continue processing with your therapist. The second section is a combination of session preparation, session notes, and session reflection to help you capture the insights that you want to hold onto. Finally, you'll have a goal setting and goal check-in section to make sure you're focused on the things that matter most to you in therapy.

IS THIS NOTEBOOK A REPLACEMENT FOR THERAPY?
This publication is not therapy or a replacement for therapy with a licensed professional. It is designed to provide information in regard to the subject matter covered. It is sold with the understanding that the publisher is not engaged in rendering psychological, financial, legal, or other professional services. If expert assistance for counseling is needed, the services of a competent professional should be sought. Other tools, tips, and reflection questions are also available to help you discover which therapist tools work best for you.
